Why Regent University?

The story of how I ended up enrolling to Regent University is a testimony to how God will take the reigns over your life and you have no control because he knows what's best for you. When I'm asked why I chose Regent I can never give a straight answer because it's all a blur and it feels like I was dragged by the ear and tossed in The Commons. Now that I'm here I realize that Regent is indeed what's best for me and it is ultimately where I begin to pursue my destiny. The environment at this school is amazing as the campus is beautiful and the people are awesome!

Why Christian Education?

It is really important to me to come as close to mastering the word of God as possible before my time on this Earth comes to an end. Yes, Math, Science and English are important but looking at the big picture we have to know the word of God and live our lives following the word along with accepting Jesus as our Lord and Savior. For me personally Church on Sunday and Wednesday isn't enough so it is essential for me to gain knowledge of the word with the pressure of earning a grade for my work and studies.

Why a Cinema-TV Degree?

Cinema-Television with a Journalism minor I believe that I was ordained to give to the world through media. By media I mean television, film, print, radio, the whole nine. When I was 4 years-old, I was the Master of Ceremonies at the promotional ceremony to Kindergarten and since that day most people that crossed my path affirmed that they would see me on T.V. or hear me on the radio and as I got older, their prophecy reigned true. I've had a 'knack' for video editing and filming for awhile now but I'm ready to make it official and get a degree so that I can touch people everywhere with my art. A degree in Cinema-Television coupled with Journalism will give me options when I graduate and I'll be able to go which ever way it's intended for me to go with it.

Prayer for Understanding

Being a young adult in my first year in college, away from home I've acknowledged the challenges I will face. Throughout my journey so far I have grown stronger as a person, in my faith and in my relationship with the Lord.

I can honestly say that I've never experienced receiving clear answers from God when I'm lost and confused. One thing that I've gotten better at, particularly while attending Regent is thoroughly utilizing the power of PRAYER."To God belong wisdom and power; counsel and understanding are his." (Job 12:13)

Knowing that, all I can do is PRAY, and wait patiently for God to reveal to me what I need to continue to do his will and ultimately reach my destiny. I encourage all that may be experiencing the same thing to be patient, be still and receive the answers you are seeking. God will not let you be deceived. It is working for me.
